did you open the param.sfo or did you try to open the .pkg

Assuming you are trying to change the name of your FTP to anything you want, follow these steps:

1) Download this: You must login or register to view this content.
2) Connect your PS3/PC using filezilla and FTP
3) Go to Dev_Hdd0>game>BLUS00000011 (very first one in game)>PARAM.SFO
4) Drag the PARAM.SFO to your desktop
5) Open up the program
6) Click Load (bottom left corner of program)
7) find the PARAM.SFO you dragged to your desktop
8.) In the middle of program it says title, and then the name
9) Change that to what you like
10) save the PARAM.SFO
11) Find the PARAM.SFO file and drag it into the Dev_Hdd0>game>BLUS00000011 (very first one in game)>
12) Click Overwrite
13) Exit your FTP
14) reload it and tell your friends to look at what game you are playing

^ I tried a new homebrew and it worked :O! Idk why but thats wierd O.o. Someone please close thread problem resolved!
