I've been searching for modded controllers online and how to make one as well.
Today i saw a PS2 controller ,wireless, with a turbo button aswell as a macro button for only $9.99 CDN at a nearby Wal-Mart. i didnt pick it up however but thought of a new way to make a mod controller for PS3.

Does anyone think this would work?

Get a usb ps2-ps3 controller adapter and plug it in
and then just use it as a normal controller now with turbo and custom speeds with the macro button?

i know for sure the adapter sold at EB games and Gamespot works for CoD WaW

yes it works but honestly it is a little slow for most games out now, yet cost effective. i would buy a hori though because the speed is adjustable.

Yes it will but you wont have a ps button.

A horipad goes for around $35-$40, but it does not work for WaW. It works great on CoD4 though...

dont get a Hori controller it sucks its $40 of crap first of its double the fatness of a controller and hard to get used to and its cheap, i got two one broke in 3 days and the other has jammed keys within 2 weeks. buy a real modded controller

it does have a ps button. i have 2 (but this controller sucks dont get it trust me)

hi hello every one... i do agree about the hori controller being that it sucks... but first off i do not own one, my friend does and yes i have used this controller when im over his place so i know it does sucks. first off the sticks' heads are very small and the unit feels small and light, i have big hands. plus you would not be able to use this with some or most newer FPSs because they are catching one plus people were calling it cheating and game's company wants to please those people, such games like COWAW and KillZone2...

Its not hard to get used to a hori.....unless that you're that pathetic.

only responding to last part. that guy was talking about having the ps2 controller with the adapter, so you could play ps3 games, not the hori pad. so yeah it would nothave a ps button
