I've got a Phat 40 gig ps3 (360g hdd) cechh01, few years old, using the newest multi man, and kimawe, or however you spell it, firmware. I freeze when tring to save/load a game sometimes. Freezes when I am trying to load multiman sometimes.

I heard wanikiko was better for older systems, what do you all think.

I hope kimawe means kmeaw... but anyways alot of ps3s have freezing problems, mine freezes every once in a while and it's a 250gb Slim... I never had these problems when i was on Waninkoko's, but since i saw a lot of people on Kmeaw's i felt left out :P. I suggest you look at the compatibility for Waninkoko's because you could end up bricking your console. Systems with 256mb NAND will not work.

you will not have a system if you install waninkoko kmeaw should be fine on your system just make sure you run lv2 or have a manager that auto bypasses lv2 if your running backup managers (multiman, rogero)

DO NOT install wnainkoko on a fat 40 ps3 it will be a gonner it hass 256 nand

oh and the reson alot of people dont want to answer is because your not supposed to ask things here when you click on the forum at the top theres a ps3 exploits and hacks questions thread post future questions there

No one answered there, thats why I came here

Also, if you had your facts straight my ps3 modle number is that of a 16mb nand, so it will work fine with Wakino,

Pokemon Trainer
I got an old 60gb Backward comp. with Wutangrza/Geohotz firmware using GAIA 2.4 and get no freezing or any issues at all. I suggest going to that.
