(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have three lag switchs, a home made one were i get about 4 sec of lag and it freezes people, then a sas lag with about the same lag as the homemade one, and I bought one from thelagcity were I can see people move and i get about 7 sec, the problem im having is if i lag for more than 7 seconds it disconnects me from the game and most of the time disconnects me from psn. Ive tried all network settings on my ps3 (10-t full ples 10-t half plex...etc) This is my setup

IVe changed my setup everyway i can think and it still does the same thing, I know people who can lag up to 30 plus seconds and not get disconnected? There setup is no differnt, If you can help me anyways that would be awesome

ya, i can get minutes while i'm not playing a game. In-game i can get like 20-25 secs.

Do you have DSL? If so, that might be a problem.

i have about 100 ft. of cable as well.

my network hub is a network switch too. no its cable. and i have like over 50ft of cord, but it seems the whole "longer the cord trick" doesnt matter cause i get the same with a 50 ft cables as i do a 5 ft cable

That is odd but I noticed I recieved the same problems when my cord inside the switch was not fully around the screws. Also how much did the sas switch cost you and how do you get about 7 seconds can't you put it to go 6 secs lag unlag relag ect.

this is how i have mine hooked up get about 10-15 sec no prob without disconecting you just have to get the timeing down

You only get 10-15 seconds of lag with that, Thats odd

If you keep the lag switch on and freeze people for to long it disconnects you. It happens to everyone. When you buy a lag switch they dont tel you that. You should only freeze people for about 10 sec, then unfreeze, freeze again.

That is a decent amount of lag time. Some people only get maybe 7 seconds or so and still find glitches.





As for the lag problem it may be the way you set up the internet on the playstation. I mess around with that all the time it may give you a few extra seconds. Your connection is probably different than the people you know so that may work.
