1. Pirating games is illegal and is not supported here.
2. For backing up and running your own games use a different custom firmware such as Kmeaw, as it doesn't require you mod eboots.

Where can I get that from & can I update to that off Geohots?

You have to convert to 3.55 OFW before converting to kmeaw 3.55 CFW.

Google is everyones friend and to answer your other question - possibly but it's much safer to flash the normal 3.55 fw and then flash Kmeaw's cfw.
