(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I currently have some v3.55 custom firmware on my ps3, and Comgenie, multiman, I have also managed to connect my ps3 to my laptop through FTP (BlackBox and Filezilla).

My problems are changing what game it says I'm playing and appearing offline. I dont see mecomment.dat, even though I followed the tutorials on here and when I edit PARAM.SFO it does not update the PSN part, just a small bit in the XMB screen. Is there something I've missed? Does the game need to be backed up on my PS3 and I edit that data? I think that might work, but I'm not sure I gotta wait an hour for it to be backed up

mecomment.dat is under home and under one of the numbers there.. should be like 000001 just look through them until you see friendim, then go into friendim and youll see mecomment.dat

That's the problem... It's not there

It may not be that 000001 did you try checking the others to see if they had it

Yes, I checked all 3 of them, I've followed the tutorials on here and have searched as far back as page 10. It just isn't showing up, I've been on NGU and PSN testing all this out for like 5hrs :dunce:
