Which custom firmware you on and which version of multiman?

ie used geo CFW and version 1.13

Try Rogero Manager. Haven't had a problem with it at all. Don't know much about MulitMan tho so cant help you there.

Id recomend going back to sony official firmware then going onto Kmeaw's cfw and using the omg omg omg lv2 patcher and the newest version of multiman (1.13.04)

Here's a little written tutorial after your on kmeaws cfw:

Download multiman 01.13.04
Download the omg omg omg lv2 patcher
install those both via usb via install package files
Start up the omg omg omg lv2 patcher then press x when its done, then go straight into multiman and copy the game to you hdd, after its finished press r1 to set permisions.
Then before leaving multiman remove the game youve just copied and insert any other game or a blank blu ray disk. Click x on the game you just copied to your hdd) to launch then press no when it asks you do you want start without booting to xmb?, this will kick you back to the xmb, now go onto the game (or blank blu ray) youve put into the ps3 and instead of being that game it should be the one youve copyied to your hdd press x on it and it should load up. Hope this helped and Let me know if this works it did for me!

sony official firmware the going onto Kmeaw's cfw,also goehots cfw dont alow the playing of copied games.also i have the same problem with multiman it freezes so i use rogero that works a treat.

Yeah I use this setup too. I also use "Level 2 patcher" before I use "Rogero Manager". And when I am done messing around I use "Erase Me" to delete my history and put a fake history back on.

Not been banned so far lol.

Also if you subscribe to love film then you have a endless supply of games to back up and play

i would use GaiaManager , LV2 patch bulit in, no errors, quite fast back ups, im on kmeaw(i dont know how to spell it) works perfect, was just playin GTA 4 no freezing and no endless loadin screen, you'll find the download link for GaiaManager 2.04 somewhere around here

i dont use the lv2 patcher just regero.

the trouble with giai is that when you ripped an game with another manager it dont show up in giai,but if you say use rogero it shows up in multiman and regero.
i use regero with kneaw cfw.

Yeah i know but easy fix for this just use ftp server and file zilla to move the back ups to for example BdRIps instead of GAMES folder, they show up AND load im happy with gaia , multiman never worked correctly :S
