(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm running 3.55 kmeaw with this tutorial: You must login or register to view this content. I've gotten a few other games to work like BC2, Read Dead Redemption, and Black Ops, but when I load COD4, all I get is the logo flashing for a few seconds, then a black screen. I don't think it matters but my version is BLES00148. I'm also using multiman 1.13. I've heard a few other people say they have the same problem, and maybe it could be something with a pkg or eboot but I dont know much about those so I dont know for sure. It would be awesome if I could get this to work because lots of people call this the best COD and I've barely played it before (sad I know lol).

Damn that sucks lol :( Does anyone know why at least, or could someone with the actual game make a fix or something? I looked around and I haven't found a .pkg for COD4 (if thats even the problem)

JokerLol
Climbing up the ladder
Try editing the PARAM.SFO file, change PS3_SYSTEM_VERSION to 03.5500
Thats how i got NFS:HP to work after having multiple black screen problems
If your using multiman to boot the game, if it asks to change PARAM.SFO back to 3.41 or any other version then press NO and carry on as normal, Make sure you put a bluray disk in the drive when on the backup manager.

Thanks I'll try this, but how exactly do you edit the PARAM.SFO? (might be a noob question lol) I know it's in the PS3_GAME folder, but you can't open it with notepad. Is there some program on the PC or PS3 you can edit it with?
