I had all the right files in the right place on my hdd so i think its the pkg file i made but am not sure.

I would like someone to test this to see if they can get it working, or see if they can find the problem with it.

Also if anyone has a working pkg for EU GT5 id greatly apreciate it if you could link me to it. It would save me time

Maybe you should jus try to change the region of the US EBOOT? I don't know how that's done but it's probably easier to do I assume?

What are these modifications your talking about anyway? Is it like the ff13 modified EBOOT where u get unlimited money n wt not? That would be really helpful for gt5 if you could get unlimited xp and money

No its just modified so that i can boot GT5 off my hdd, iv looked everywhere for 1 and cant find 1 so i followed a tut and made 1 but for some reason its not working

Oh ok, if you ever get it working maybe you should move onto getting the cheats to work :p having to wait to be a certain level before u can buy the car u want is a pain in the a**

Heres My original eboot and param sfo just replace and overwrite your files using blackbox hope this helps

Thanks but i have the game backed up on my hdd using open manager 2.1 u need to edit the eboot and paramo so the game boots from the hdd. The original just makes it boot from disk.

I had same prob as you m8 i had it on my hdd with moddified eboot i didnt need to replace the sfo file i searched the net and found an original unmodified eboot i just replaced it with the eboot you may also need to replace your param sfo if it has been moddified , sure try them anyway just back up the ones you have and replace with these what you got to lose hope you get it working it had my head wrecked for a few days again i finally fixed it.

PS3 games aren't region locked. You should be able to play EU games on other regions and vice versa. This shouldn't effect it in any way.
