Chalk up another for kmeaw… This isn’t a custom firmware, but a homebrew app that downloads other homebrew; homebrew like backup managers, emulators, etc… I’m sure more will be added over time — right now it is a work in progress.

HPR is basically an embedded web browser of its own, very simple at this point, that can also unpack and install pkg files. You’re doing this all on the PS3 with no intermediary. HPR is similar to PSX Store, only that uses the integrated PS3 browser to download pkgs — and it doesn’t auto-install them.

We sure did didn't we. I am a forum whore. Scanning every couple hours to see what has been put up on at least 4 different forum's. As soon as stuff like this hit's I know it the second it comes out. But this has already been said a a couple days ago. :p
