If you update to 3.56, then none of your home-brew applications will work, so blackb0x ftp server won't work, and yes you would need a new blackb0x ftp server, but until a 3.56 CFW is released you wont be able to install a new blackb0x FTP server.

So the best thing to do, is bypass until a stable custom firmware is released.

To bypass all you have to do is change, your DNS settings (under network settings) to:
