I installed FTP server and have only used Filezilla from my computer to install modded patches. Do i have to overwrite the 3.55 CFW with the 3.55 regular firmware and then update to 3.56? Or can I do it without restoring to the original 3.55? Also, will I get banned? Im fine if the update takes away Ftp server and anything on the CFW btw. PLEASE HELP.

Yes you have to overwrite the custom firmware with the original 3.55. And no, you will not get banned. But if you hacked Black Ops to get 15 prestige then you will. You will only lose your privileges of playing Black Ops online.

My hacked BO accounts were made on a diff user's ps3. I dont have that game data in my black ops folder, since i am only logging into a hacked account. And they havent been banned yet anyways since i havent gone on MP with them yet.

Yeh, but since you are playing online with that hacked account, your stats will be reset and people online will probably report you if they check your combat record.

I went from 3.55 Kmeaw to 3.56 and nothing happened. And no, I don't believe you'll get banned for just that. Theres been other people who ave done more than just that. I include myself as part of those people :]

I went from Kmeaw CFW Strait to the 3.56 OFW on 2 different systems. all i did was run my eraseme stealth before i installed. my system is completely fine.
Model 1: CECH-2001A ps3 slim 120g
Model 2: CECH-2001B ps3 slim 250g

So you erased your players logs, selected update via internet and put 3.56 on top of the 3.55 CFW kmeaw? If it did firstly i'm happy secondly you are very brave!
