To run games with out a bluray drive ur goning to need to download then or copy then from another ps3. once that is done start ur ftp and you will either have a GAMES or GAMEZ folder in your hdd0/. you copy the folder that has the blus code along with everthing in it to whatever folder your manager uses.

Dont you kinda need a working blu-ray drive? they are like 80 bux now adays....

my blu ray is going the disk is spinning and it sounds like its ejecting but nothing comes out it rarely lets a game play

What im looking for was posted on here a couple weeks bak. You can connect to your ps3 via ftp access the BROKEN bed dvd and copy the files, just cause the blu ray player doesnt launch the games doesnt mean you cant access those files.

A friend of me on PSN had the same problem too, he sent it to the importer of ps3s in his country. I dunno if its a easy fix.

Ye figured it out, even with a broken blu-ray player, you can insert the game into ps3 access ps3 via FTP Server and access dev-bdvd or w.e it is and access the game......You know the rest
