hey can some one help me i decided i would try to put my 3.56 into factory service mode just to see if it worked and now im stuck in it
i put the file 2 lv2 in the farthes right usb port and nothing happens it just boots normaly into factory service mode
EDIT: IDK if on 3.56 you can install the firmware again...
all you need to do( never tested but should work because of same way to brick really) get geohot 3.55 cfw(that shows up on 3.56 ps3's) and go to install that one. then just shut ps3 off while its still installing. ( i say use gehot just because it lets u add another firmware only reason) in case your on 3.56 and thrs no more firwares to install for easy brick.
If u are on 3.56 factory service mode and you try to reinstall update 3.56,, you will get this.. A serious error has occurred.. And enjoy the red screen..
Man, a user already posted the files these are very unstable, and can brick your ps3, but just a try, if you want, you can downgrade to 3.41 with the file 1 and then exit the service mode, and then update to 3.56.
yea ive read that but u need to brick the ps3 so u tell me how do i brick a 3.56 firmware thats stuck in factory service mode cause ive already tried that

It used to be "impossible" to get out of service mode on 3.55 but then new files were out that made it possible again. My guess is that there will be new files that get you back out of service mode but you might have to wait a while.

Basicly when you are in factory mode with FW. 3.56 you're screwed.
