But, my question is, for the 3.56 CFW where you have to update from 3.55 CFW, do you still have to use the DNS Bypass or does it work online without a bypass?

I ask because of the obvious, what's the point of going to 3.56 CFW if it uses the same DNS Bypass as 3.55 CFW.

I'm pretty sure if it has PSN access it will not need DNS bypass.

It's signed by the same 3.55 keys to upgrade to 3.56, but does it upgrade to the 3.56 keys from the 3.55 keys, and if so isn't that a bad thing because none of the homebrew can be run?

I already updated to 3.56 OFW

Because they changed the keys in 3.56, the 3.55 keys no longer are allowed to run on the PS3's system because Sony patched it out, we have the new 3.56 keys but we don't know how to actually get them to sign properly yet, therefore we can update from the 3.55 keys to the 3.56 keys, but we're not actually able to use the 3.56 keys.

I think the 3.56 CFW has really buggy install packages anyways, you're not missing out on much, should have stayed on 3.55 CFW.

these people making cfw are useless maybe adding a menu and text mods they are getting nowhere
just wait for a known person like kakaroto etc. to do it

I was wondering, why people were posting about a new 3.56 CFW when all it was, was changing text, or just failed attempts at everything.. why not make a post once you actually get it working? Seems like less spam to me.
