(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I had slow speeds at first with this (especially in game). I did some research and found that this is common with proxies.

The only thing close to a solution I found was adjusting your DNS.

I'm using the google DNS service, and its working pretty well. For reference, before DNS fix my download was going to take 600+ minutes for the BFBC2 1.05 patch. After the fix, its at 250 minutes. Still shitty, but much better.

The DNS settings:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

If anybody has a better one, please share! I don't deserve any credit for this, I didn't create/invent/find it. I'm just sharing.

Yeah. Set your proxy to the bypass356.icantremembertherest.something with port 7070, then add these to your DNS settings tab. It helped me out.

Go to internet connection settings on your PS3.
Keep all of your existing settings the same until you get to the DNS section (like 3 or 4 past IP).
Put in 8.8.8.8 for primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 for secondary DNS.

Ok thanks. Your proxy is amazing man! SOOOOO MUCH FASTER THAN PLAIN DNS!!!
(I wasn't trying to take credit for it, I'm just on a mission to speed up my BFBC2 update)

This just speeds it up a wee bit Smile
