A home-brewed first for jjolano: OpenPS3FTP v1.0. It’s an alternative to blackb0x FTP server and it’s open source. If you’re a FileZilla user, you’ll probably have better luck using this when transferring files to/from your PS3, especially an abundance of [large] files at one time.

Open PS3 FTP Server Features :

Passive mode support

Active mode support

Multiple worker support (multi-threaded)

The default user/pass is root/openbox — more details in the README.

Update: jjolano has released version 1.1, which improves on stability and performance, and also fixes some bugs.
