I was not aware of that...thanks for the info.
is there an "easy way" to modify the eboot file?
if not....than what is a good jump drive jailbreak to use ? I have seen a few of them but I seen that one of them that was put out did some mass ps3 bricking.
do you think there would be a problem playing back ups on my ps3 being that my bluray drive is dead?
any links would be appreciated aswell

I went back to OFW 3.55 and then loaded up Kmeaws 3.55 CFW.....now I have "app/home" which I did not have before. I ran the LV2 package and then went into open manager and loaded red dead redemption and it kicked me back to the xmb.
now when I hover above the "app/home" it switches the screen to a red dead redemption screen and starts playing the music (like if you were to hover over the actual disc icon if you had red dead redemption in the drive).
when I click on it....the screen goes black for about 30 seconds and then kicks me back to the xmb.
also now when I am in open manager if I click launch directly......it brings up an error saying that I need atleast 516mb more on my hard drive for the feature to work (it did not give me this error code when I was on geohots 3.55 CFW.....it just went back to xmb).....
so I am still tweaking things trying to get this figured out, I am a step closer I think though....but still missing something.

Solved my problem guys thanks for the help but my problem was that i was trying to copy and use Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and i've read since that the cods are probleatic when it comes to bkups
So i tried a ghuitar hero and presto works perfectly!
I however do not have to go to app home game folder on XMB it loads up as a disc?
Also when i TRY to go to app.home.game foler on the XMB It gives me an error code :/
Can any body tell me why this is?

Well, I installed the new multiman version.(discless support) along with Kmeaw's 3.55 CFW
tried running red dead redemption again...went the app/home on the xmb.......still no luck
however, I tried running toystory 3 and the game works perfectly....only trouble I am having is that it keeps popping up every 15 minuites or so asking to update the latest game patch .....I can hit circle and keep playing but I was still curious if there was a way to eliminate the "patch message" or if there is a way to download the new patch and have the game still work (right now If I download the patch like I am prompted to, the game no longer works so I have to go to my game data and delete the file for the game that holds the patch info....and then it works fine again).
any other games that anyone suggests that work good on kmeaws 3.55 CFW with multiman discless supported 1.0.15 version (or whatever exactly the newest version is).
