Bypass the update via DNS while you still can.

I've been doing that for a while now (since the 3.56 OFW was released) and it has been working like a charm, i can connect to PSN and play online with no problems at all!

sorry propz should of metioned, that is what i've being doing since the day 3.56 came out but since then my mates have been spamming me with inbox saying * your going to get your ars banned from psn ect.* :O

I'm sure 3.56 CFW will come, even if it may take a while.
It's kind of uncertain yeah, and who knows if meanwhile Sony decides to release another update to make the hacker's job harder. :mad:

Personally i'll stick with this DNS trick for now, i can connect to PSN and play my legit games online and still use homebrew.
Besides, it spares me the trouble of updating, because to update i'll have to delete any traces of homebrew and stuff, reinstall 3.55 OFW and then install 3.56 OFW .

I don't see why they would ban me because of this, besides, i only connect to PSN when playing legit games as i mentioned. Whenever i use homebrew i do it completely offline.

i can make you an new CFW for 3.55 but a bit changed maby PSN wont recognize
if you want you can be my tester for CFW 3.56

kk thnx . i've changed the name of my blackbox to black ops helps a bit and i deleted my boot_history and acc were i did 15th so yh lets just hope all goes well.

the CFW i am on now is fine but could do with somesort of rename to 3.56 OFW so sony dnt know am on 3.55 still.
