Im still figuring out how to use all this stuff lol.
Im running geohotz 3.55 CFW , I have open manager and I have black box ftp and I have multiman 1.14.01.
jailbreak went smooth.
I got a copy of red dead redemption and I FTP'ed it over to my ps3. Loaded it into HDD0 and put in the gamez folder.
but when I try to launch it rather it be through multiman or through open manager....the screen goes black for a few seconds and then takes me back to my XMB but the game does not start.
My bluray drive is out so I was hoping that upgrading to this multiman might fix the problem I am having being that from what I understand it has discless support.
HOWEVER, when I try to instal this multiman package it pops up with an error message, won't allow me to install the app package. I have tried downloading it from a few different places but it still wont let me install it.
there are a few apps that give me the same trouble like open manager and gaia manager and a few others.

anyone have a clue what the problem is?
You have to have installed a .pkg called "Last Game Played" or something like that. That's how it works for me. It then loads up the game onto that pkg and then you click on it to launch the game.

Hmmmmmm, Ill do some searching and see if I can come up with what you mentioned.
I went back to OFW 3.55 and then loaded up Kmeaws 3.55 CFW.....now I have "app/home" which I did not have before. I ran the LV2 package and then went into open manager and loaded red dead redemption and it kicked me back to the xmb.
now when I hover above the "app/home" it switches the screen to a red dead redemption screen and starts playing the music (like if you were to hover over the actual disc icon if you had red dead redemption in the drive).
when I click on it....the screen goes black for about 30 seconds and then kicks me back to the xmb.
also now when I am in open manager if I click launch directly......it brings up an error saying that I need atleast 516mb more on my hard drive for the feature to work (it did not give me this error code when I was on geohots 3.55 CFW.....it just went back to xmb).....
so I am still tweaking things trying to get this figured out, I am a step closer I think though....but still missing something.
