yes it will be patched the old one for 3.41 did and there will be nothing we can do to get online unless a cfw 3.56 comes out and if there is well most likely get banned 4ever because of new user agreement

unless you are still on 3.55 u don't agree to agreement then u won't get banned

Umm actually. . . Stay on CFW 3.55 then get a CFW for 3.56 change the user agreement and then you can't because didn't agree to their terms so technically you could sue sony

From what I've read, the DNS is some gateway that somebody created into fooling the Ps3 that there is no update and that you are on the latest FW. Or something like that, in anyway, I guess what I'm saying is that it works like a proxy. I could be wrong, and correct me if I am.

Sony patches it somehow because eventually, it won't work and you will lose ability to sign-in, I think it times out when you try to.

As for getting banned, I doubt they can do that. Updates so far are voluntary and necessarily are only done for those of us that wish to play online. An update is not exactly necessary to have a fully functional Ps3.
