But After Thinking This Through I Thought How Can They Do This On 3.55? or Even Better If You Have CFW And Deleted Your Boot History File Which Is What i Did. They Disable Our PS3 Starting From The HDD So in My Opinion They Cant Just Disable Our PS3's Without Accessing Our Boot File Via The Rootkit Meaning I Think They Just Cant Disable Our PS3 XMB if Were On 3.55 or CFW.

The Rootkit Allows Sony To Look At Everything So It Involves Direct HDD Access.

Agreed Im on 3.55 CFW right now and im playing online as we speak :carling:

No matter what firmware your on they cant block u from using the XMB. Because everything that u can do with the ps3 goes threw that. So if they block you from using that there would be a lot of lawsuits because the ps3 would become COMPLETELY useless. So yes they can ban you off PSN but not kill your ps3.

They ban your access to PSN. They don't stop your ps3 from starting up.

If they did this they would lose thousands of customers everyone will go Xbox...
