(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so i was talking to a friend of mine and he told me about an anti update thing that keeps your ps3 from updateing but you can still play online on the firmware you have my question is is this even real?

Yes, Simple answer bro...DNS BYPASS... use the search button and you will see tons of info and tutorials... what firmware are you on now?
