If you go the PS Store, click on Themes, not Premium themes.
You can get alllllllllllllll those for free

but you can install ps3 themes on evry fw xD

My FTP didn't work on 3.56 so what you are looking for involving FTP is beyond my knowledge.

sence no one seems to wanna help u go to ps3-themes.com
find them download them
make a folder on a usb drive named
PS3 inside that put a folder called THEME inside the theme folder put all the themes you download

now on the ps3 plug in your drive go to settings> theme settings >theme at the top it will be a place to install theme install then go to your themes and apply them

you cant install themes through FTP if your on 3.56 OFW

use a usb drive
