The main problem here, is that I am having problems loading backups on my ps3, usually getting a black screen after launching the game(common problem for many I saw.)

I have used tools like:

rogero manager-Latest version
multiman-1.15 and 2 older versions
open manager-0.1c and 3 older versions

All of these with no luck, and yes, im using an original ps3 game, sometimes I dont use it just to try different ways to boot, and also different settings within the backup managers.
Some recommends this tool

So you see, I have tried a few different things with no luck, but you know what, maybe im doing something that is not necessary or interferes with the backups playability, and that would be no surprise to me because im a newbie to all this.

So after this introduction to my problem I have the following question (s)

I have used for a few days an original ps3break usb dongle, then I changed to waninkoko's CFW 3.55 v2, and thats when i get the black screen.
I don't know if ps3break was able to play the backups, because I didn't get a chance to try any game, but I don't have the dongle anymore (long story) so I cant try that.

Before doing any more experiments with different backup managers and settings, can you please tell me if having the ps3break (files already installed or settings) before the CFW, is in some way interfering with the CFW or backup managers funcionality?

Can you let me know what are the steps to fix my problem?

Once I have the CFW installed, is there anyway to know, if I have it right, like looking at system settings, where I can see my istalled FW version?

I saw that I have FW version 3.55, but not sure if the CFW would say or have something different than that.

Ok since this is still confusing for many of us, can somebody at least tell me, how to play splited games.

The games are already on internal ps3 hdd but I dont know how to join the files.

Im on kmeaw 3.55 now and the games im trying are
Batman euro version (lots of xxx files here??? very confusing)
NFS HP euro version.
