(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys.. just a quick question to devs.

Would it be possible to make a no-cd patch for a ps3 and make it a .pkg file?

im only asking this is because i know that a lot of people have their PS3 jailbroken, and a few of you might not have a working Blue-ray drive. (i think my drive is gonna go soon) so would it be possible to trick a ps3 system into reading that pkg file as a cd is in the drive?

thanks ahead of time for all the positive and negative responses.

Cheers:beer::beer:

We call these BackUps. Except Back Ups you have to load from a homebrew app.

i understand that, but there has to be a game in the Drive in order to play the back-up. is it possible to make a .pkg file so that it would look like there is a disk in the drive all the time? install it on the ps3 but only turn it on when clicked on it maybe?

You can trick them into thinking your External HDD is your disk drive, im pretty sure the same for Internal too.
