(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); A friend of mine was on 3.55 Kmeauw CFW & while also using DNS bypass for over a week yesterday, overnight he logged back onto PSN and without installing ANYTHING - to find that hes now on 3.56 and his DNS settings are also slightly different. Does anyone have any idea if it was somehow possibly remotely changed by Sony ? or has anyone else had a similar experience ? Ive got the same setup on 1 of my PS3s & upon hearing this im keeping my CFW PS3s "off the grid" so to speak, not trying to spread scare storys, just need theorys

Nope, his PS3 probably auto-updated.

It could be his own internet settings at home,
I think he did not gave his PS3 a static IP address so it changed.
Its deff not sony.

ok let me make it very simple...if he truly was on 3.55 CFW, it's IMPOSSIBLE for sony to auto update to 3.56.... end of story....

now...under 3.56 there are rumors that from now on sony has rootkits that will have the power to auto update whenever they so choose...most of it are rumors and speculations, if it is true, it should be ILLEGAL (SONY DONT TREAD ON ME) :bat:
