What you need:
. 2x ps3s one with custom firmware one not.
. Knowledge in how to create demo pkgs.
. Knowledge in how the data transfer works.
Once you have found a piece of homebrew you want create it into a demo pkg transfer it to the ps3 with the custom firmware but don't install it.
Then you can use the datatransfer utility to transfer it across to the none jailbroken ps3.
Once the transfer as finished you can then install it on official firmware ps3.
Just so you all know don't try this with 3.56 it does not work because all of the homebrew for 3.55 the keys have been 'blocked'; It comes up with the same message as trying to install unsigned homebrew on a 3.55 cfw ps3.
My theory on this is if we find different 'signing' keys then we can use this method to port homebrew to 3.56 and installing it without needing a 3.56 custom firmware which isn't looking overly promising at this moment in time.

If a load of flaming is caused by this thread i will simply ask a moderate to close.

To everyone asking me about 3.56 and CFW : PLEASE STOP. We can decrypt/encrypt the 3.56 files, but we cannot sign them, so it's not so easy

FYI: I am NOT working on 3.56.. maybe in the future, but for now, I concentrate on 3.55, you either choose PSN (3.56) or homebrew (3.55 MFW)

3.56 signing keys will be found soon and there will be a cfw.
