Say your doing a mw2 patch, and you want a custom, thats where you edit the entire patch.pkg file itself, hard for noobies,
You use ps3 proxy to make the download url of the original patch, and change it to your computers where you have the modified patch, its how we used to do it basically

i no how to do the proxy tool redirecting i used to use it ages ago
