You can not load a back-up of a different PS3 on and it wouldn't affect the PS3's firmware. With that i mean, if you try to load the Back-Up of your other PS3 it just wouldn't work because you can only use the Back-Up on the PS3 with on that you have made it.

Wrong could load it. but only the accounts.
