I have been using this CFW for awhile now. I have noticed that the XMB locks up (not the freezing issue) for a second or two then moves on to my next selection. I only have three games backed up on the HDD. NFSHP, COD 5, and GTA4. Has anyone else had this issue?

Try getting rid of NFSHP, see if it works any better.

Yeah it's a common for certain games, try a CoD, they always seem pretty smooth.

my ps3 is real laggy i have a ps3 slim 120gb. it doesnt freeze but when you got o select something it takes like 10sec. so ya i have the same problem i guess i deleted all my music all my demos not played game data and im still laggy. theres probably no fix unless you format it i guess. :wtf:

You right not a major issue, but if there was a reason and a fix i would rather it that way. Thats the price we pay for CFW I guess.

Here use this cfw its waninkokos v2. it doesnt lag what so ever and back ups are really easy to use on here. when i play the back ups and go on xmb it doesnt lag at all its really good. Plus it has other os in the system settings. You must login or register to view this content.
