Download the original 3.55 update and install it. Then, you are safe to go! If you update it straight from the custom firmware, your buyer will lose the option to update via storage media, which is how we put the custom firmware in.

thanks for that, ive followed the tut above but wen i get to update via storage, theres no data so i cant go back to ofw..:S

I'm so sorry! I forgot the main part. You need to make a folder in your USB Stick and name it "PS3". Then inside make another folder and name it "UPDATE". Now put the original 3.55 .PUP file in there and plug it in your Playstation 3. Now navigate to "settings" and go to update. Now go to "Upadate via storage media". Then just update and have fun! =P
