(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, what's up NGU? I might look like a newb  but I'm capable of helping out the community.

What is that strange string of characters everyone refers to md5 or sha1 when updating to a certain CFW/MFW? Well this md5/sha1 hash acts as a fingerprint on a certain file, basically meaning "is this the real file I am using?" mostly to secure any usage of fakes programs or such.

Here I introduce to you HashTab!
Download Link: You must login or register to view this content.
EDIT = Scanned Link You must login or register to view this content.

With HashTab you can validate file authenticity within any custom firmware PUP.
(NOTE: the hashes must be in capital or else the program might detect it as false)

Examples of md5/sha1 hashes:

Waninkoko CFW v2 (3.55)
MD5: 6a6cfc701300c95b57b990d8d609e52f
SHA1: a4f155711bbb031022d0c531d70a0b7a180b7aca

Kmeaw MFW 3.55
MD5: 2be5e87a22bf1e7f48e98fcabd38977b

Official Firmware 3.55(Sony)
MD5: ca595ad9f3af8f1491d9c9b6921a8c61

How-To use? You just open the PUP of any firmware you want to hash check and you copy the hash someone has provided for you and you paste it onto the bottom bar. Make sure to set MD5/SHA1 hashes on. If the hash is true then it will display a check sign confirming it is correct.

Go ahead and try it! "HappyThanksHappy" is welcome if I helped in anyway ^.^.

Exactly my friend Smile, Sony wouldn't dare take a step close to disabling everyone's consoles. But I'm sure they will handle those who support piracy and hack online with a PSN ban, example: Black Ops.

Hurah!
Sony doesn't have the right to brick, they have the right to ban, you "the user" brick the system yourself for messing with it

upload file.

Post virus scan link.

Virus total usually finds nothing. Although it can find some of the older keyloggers and trojens, it isn't too helpful.
