You need the file for the one that you are on. If you are on Geohot 3.55, you will need the 355GH.pkg, the other one works for all other firmware. Most of the other pkg's are not very useful.

Format USB stick to fat32, drag the multiman you need to your usb(so it looks like: X:/multimankissmyass.pkg), pop it in the ps3 and go to "Install package file". How hard can it be.:n00b:

Hey I know im a noob also ill rep you again if you help ok my computer detets my flashdrive, its installed corectly and everything but i cant find where to open the flashdrive its not on the start my computer thing please help for + rep

Go to start - control panel - administrative tools - Computer management. On the left click Disk Management and see if it has unallocated space when you put in your usb stick and reply back.
Make sure that if your stick is 8GB that there is 8GB unallocated space. Is it there, yes or no?
Looks kinda like a grey area and on the left its like:
Disk2
Basic
xxxGB
Online

Please note if the stick is bigger then 4Gb you need other software but ill walk you through it.

oooo f***... it was late and kinda sleepy /facepalm i didnt read it right..

to put the rar files on there you need to extract download winrar and right click and extract you will get a file that looks like a piece of paper with a folded edge it will say like multiman.pkg this is a pkg file put that onto the usb root no folders go to install pkg files it will find it install it and it will automaticaly put an icon under the game portion of the xmb then your rady to go
