Not because he is afraid of lawsuits(he doesn't live in America) but because of other projects. Now they are still working on it, we just do not know who the dev's are. This is a good thing because we don't want to have another Geohot issue.

if its not for 3.56 Sony will always be one step ahead because when its 3.56 compatible no doubt Sony will have the next fw out?

to do silent updates like they have to block the DNS and proxy your ps3 has to be connected to the internet, so if we can get a 3.55 from a ps3 that's not been connected to the internet and compare with the new 3.55 we can see what had been changed and find a way of changing it?

As of now we don't know a lot about the tool. Other then what I said, they could have the private keys already and not release them, we really don't know.
