ok so Geohot is being sued for the brilliancy of showing Sony their flaws and its amazing capabilities it couldve had. he should be asked to work with Sony rather than being sued.

but my question is: isnt this a little like Apple vs Jailbreaking?
i know its two completely different things a PS3 and an iPod/iPhone/whatevers... but in the end Jailbreaking won because the court said something along the lines of "once you bought it and its your property to do with as you wish" or some chizz. our PS3...

im not exactly sure of the Legalistics... but this prerty much the same yeah?

Yes if sony were smart they would hire geohot to fix their immense security issues......but sony is not smart.....they are arrogant.....

imagine all the money sony is dishing out to their own blood sucking lawyers to sue geohot, why not just hire the poor bastard and have him fix all these security holes in the 1st place..... they ought to really fire their incompetent programmers that have been neglecting all these holes in the ps3 system for a long time.

Just think about it.....even the DNS BYPASS...it took them 2 weeks to shut it down....thats a JOKE..... i was baffled it took that long....

I'll tell u this much....if geohot would ever work for sony, trust me...hacking days and homebrew on the ps3 would be over..... the dude would secure this thing to CIA / NSA standards in a heart beat.....
