I have a Pre-made Coldboot from sometime ago in december, Waiting and hoping a new method would come around so that i can make use of them, And alas one has come
Video to show what exactly a coldboot is, For those who have come across this thread and wondered WTF is a coldboot lol

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WHEN FLASHING ANYTHING INTO FLASH ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN SO BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL MESSING WITH THINGS INSIDE OF IT BECAUSE YOU COULD POTENTIALLY BRICK. AND I OR OTHERS WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF THAT OCCURS.
I will accept request's from people who wish to have a custom coldboot of they're choosing, Just shoot a reply with what you want and what part of that "sound/song" you want used, Ill add it as a quote to you and then add it to the main post here.
THESE GO INTO DEV_RWFLASH/VSH/RESOURCE, ALSO YOU CAN ONLY SEE THAT FOLDER IF YOUR USING A FILE MANAGER AND NOT FTP, AND REMEMBER TO SHUT THE PS3 OFF AFTER YOU TRANSFER THEM TO SEE THE CHANGES!
I also test each of these coldboots myself before they get posted to ensure they are working properly.

then they just go into here
and then shut off? does it overwright a file?

O......M........G your sig......Just saying lol and yes they're just sounds, They go into DEV_RWFLASH/VSH/RESOURCE then shut down ps3 and all should be good, and yes it overwrites the original boot sounds but all you have to do i make a copy of the originals if you ever want to go back to them.

Everyone knows how old it is, There's no need for you to announce it, A new method that everyone can make use of on 3.55 was just discovered a few days ago. And to alot of people this is new to them.

Make me one!!!!! HA!, And you need the Asbestos installer, You run it until it tells you to press X to exit and open a file manager and the folder named DEV_RWFLASH will show up, Your files must go into that folder for it to work out.

It won't as long as you don't mess with anything else in the flash area except for the files provided in the downloads. I've tested each and every single one of these coldboots myself before posting them and all is good.
