Wouldnt that be easier?

I mean think about it, the terms on PSN violates CFW on PSN, but the TERMS never say you cant use custom firmware that does not allow PSN connection, so technically, you wouldnt violate any terms, cause your not using PSN with CFW, instead your using the OFW for online mode!

CFW = (Offline Only Uses)

OFW = (Online Uses)

I mean, people could work with this, like i would erase my logs then go back to OFW with no apps installed.

completely invisible you kno?

EDIT: In the Terms for PSN, you are violating those Terms when using CFW on PSN, but you can just use CFW offline, then switch to OFW to go back online without breaking the TERMS

What about the Terms? so your pretty much saying "bring on the ban wave?"

jk. lol no it was an idea because that way sony cant do anything

Ok tbh with you I understand where your coming from with your idea. I just dont think it will be well suited having to keep switching from your OFW to CFW. You need a constant FW in place and the best option in my eyes is just gunna be a cat & mouse game with Sony. The PS3 has been cracked, they may stop it time after time, but we all know now that the oppertunity is there to do it.

It just having patience, remember it not long for the PS3 being hacked, soon after a while we could be costing Sony so much money trying to stop it that it wont be worth them trying anymore. Well we can all hope so.

It too early for me to tell but I think there a good chance that we will have what we want sooner or later. But as your idea you got, you never really know that may have to be the route taken, it all depends on how it goes and what Sony do to stop us time after time.

Just personally, I'd rather not your idea as it will be a pain to keep having to change over FW.

I've been trying to do that since the 3.42 update, because you can put Dev_Flash from 3.56 on a USB and use firmware loader, I know some people know how to get the files from the PUP update, but I don't :(

ROFL! "all hackers" There are only about 10 "hackers" on this site. Using a USB does not make you some 1337 h@x0r

Uh, that is really not needed. That auto assumes that you can freely re-modifiy the firmware when ever, which may not be the case. Thats just based on ps3 history...
