Killzone 3 demo was taken off psn:

The news source is below:
Killzone 3 is one of the biggest upcoming releases for the PlayStation 3 and gamers are eagerly anticipating the release on February 22nd. Currently, Sony has an open multiplayer beta available for people to enjoy, but those who have PlayStation Plus are enjoying a small taste of the single-player campaign with the single-player demo. Those without PS+ have to wait until February 15th to download it, but yesterday the Hong Kong PS Store had the demo available to all and it was a way for those without PS+ to enjoy the demo early.

Sony has since pulled the demo off the Hong Kong store for reasons unknown.

So i have made this thread so others can play the demo.
Just put the file on your usb stick and put it on your ps3, Then go to install files and install and play.
This is for people who are still on Jailbroken firmwares

The name of the package is a lot of letters. Can I change the package to "Killzone3.pkg" ? Or will that **** everything up?


Don't change the pkg name, only the folder you put it in, follow the guide and try it then if you have any problems let me know.

I did exactly what the tutorial said. It's transferring to my PS3 right now. lmao wouldn't it be funny if it bricked my PS3 or broke :/....

Also, I used a download accelerator and got it in 10 mins
Otherwise it would have taken me 153 mins

It didn't work. I did exactly what the tutorial showed, even with the 00000006 and the folder they used as an example. On the XMB, i searched everywhere and couldn't find it.

Did you put folder in dev_hdd0/vsh/task on filezilla?

Yea I actually did. In that folder, there was another folder. If I remember, it was like 0000001 or something.

Ok try the whole thing again, If it does not work then I will create the folder for you to download when I wake up. I'm going bed now lol.

Surely you must have a USB stick, It will make life easier.
