Wrong section. Normally, you put the patch on, then you do a data transfer to the ps3 on 3.56 fw and after its done you mod .

u can backup ur patches all u have to do is go to system settings > backup utility and backup the patches u want then update to 3.56 and restore ur patches

okay since you have cfw and probley ftp here is what you do
1)place the one of the patches you want on your ps3
2)make sure the patch works
3)back up your playstation on a usb by going to settings>system settings > backup utility
4)rename the backup file to the name of your patch
5)place on your computer
6)repeat 1-6 till you have all your patches backed up

Now to put the patches back on just put the backup on your usb and restore from back up

I have cfw and ftp server but not 2 ps3s guys any method of 1 ps3?
