The DNS bypass was patched and the supposed bypass with the same DNS and a signed certificate apparently doesn't work as I've been told by many reliable sources.

So pretty much I'm just on the fence whether to torture myself by staying on 3.55 and wasting a weekend being bored. I know if i want a safe update to 3.56 i should first restore to 3.55 OFW then to 3.56 correct? Also i know i won't be able to play homebrew and play backed up games but won't i still be able to host CLs? like can i change patch? even if i can't change the patch, if i just update will i still have the CL i had on before, just i can't change it?

i went to 3.56 and never played online much

but ive jus swapped my cuz for his 3.50 80gb phat and im currently on kmeow 3.55

but face it u cant run homebrew or **** around with ur ps3 if u update
