do i neeed anything else on my ps3, other then Asbest or lv2patcher, do i neeed to change my ps3 dns or dhcp or annything like that?

so i go on lv2 patcher and quit (if thats what you mean by running it?) then i install AsbestOS installer, then i run it, then i go back to lv2 patcher and click linux, then my screen goes black and i have to turn ps3 off.

I don't know what to tell you. Try doing what Xavex said above your post. If all else fails, I'd say just consult Google. I'm about to try to get PSN on 3.55, so maybe I can help you out later.

To do what i said you had to have AsBestOS 1.4 and linux.img (is in the rar, only put the linux.img in the USB, no need to format or anything).
