(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); From my testing I have determined you can only connect using this method on a WIRELESS connection. I guess the authentication using wireless/wired differs. I can connect perfectly fine using wireless then I switch to wired and BAM it doesn't work.

Um, your wrong. It contacts the auth server in the same way. you just have things mis-configured. it does not matter...

i think the only ps3 that cant use wireless is the 20 gb ps3 so if u got a wireless connection dont buy the 20 gb ps3
