You guys are not properly setting it up. Check FIREWALS on your antivirus not to mention check your router's settings and make sure no ports are being blocked . Some routers have a DMZ mode which puts you outside of the routers firewall. Put your PC in the DMZ (or sometimes gaming mode on some routers) then try again. Also make sure the IP addresses that you are punching into the PS3 are correct.
