im from canada, but i know the US one will work, but im saying, What do i do with it, where do you put it? you put your ps3updatelist in a folder called ubuntu, i dont have that folder is what im saying

Wow no, ubuntu in not used or needed for this whatsoever.
Try actually downloading the ZIP file i provided, then watch the entire video, and then tell me if you have problems.
Before download my ZIP file or watching the videos DOWNLOAD CHARLES! Its free. Google it.
