Instructions:
1. Extract the "Naima" folder to the desktop.
2. Then put the contents of "bspatch-bsdiff.rar" into the "Naima" folder on your desktop.
3. Then place the 3.55 "PS3UPDAT.PUP" into the Naima folder as well.
4. Open CMD and then type in "cd Desktop\Naima".
5. Then type in "bspatch PS3UPDAT.PUP PS3UPDAT-Naima.PUP 3.55CFW-naima.patch"
6. Copy the newly made "PS3UPDAT-Naima.PUP" to your USB flash drive in the directory of "F:\PS3\UPDATE" and rename it to PS3UPDAT.PUP.
7. Install the firmware and have fun!

is this suposed to be ofw or cfw?

I installed the pre-patched cfw you posted but it still asks me for an update. Do I have to use a certain DNS or something?

You should add to your post that people still need to run charles+ps3dns/****psn 0.5. All this does is change a aertificate on your ps3. It's not worth installing this firmware if you have already swapped the certs on tour ps3.
