Guys stop setting the secondary to 8.8.8.8. Try using your router's default address e.g Your routers address that you would use to access the router to make changes. Mine is setup that way and it works great. Mine would not work with 8.8.8.8 in place. It did the same thing, asked to update.

This tutorial gives you the Charles config file already set up. No need to do all that configuring. Follow this and remember NOT to set the secondary as 8.8.8.8 and to your router's address and you should be fine.
