(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so is it true i can do modded lobbys on 3.56 by using a tranfercable (ethernet cord) by tranfering data from a ps3 that has a custom mw2 patch to my ps3 that does not have a custom patch?

Yup you have to set up the Data transfer utility

TY i hope my ethernet port works it wont connect to an ambit router owned by road runner

You dont need to connect to the router you just connect the 2 ps3's together via the ethernet cable and the ps3 will give you all the instructions

need 2 ps3s for this, one on 3.56 and one on 3.55 CFW or lower, and using Data transfer, unless u made backups, so u can load them

ik but it wouldnt even read the router wen i plugged it in so im wondering if it will read another ps3 n is there a way i can purchase another ethernet port box 4 my ps3 if my old 1 is shot?

For some reason, after I updated to 3.56, I can still do CL's.
I haven't done anything to get this...
Anyone else have this?

Im sure you could put it into a repair shop and get it replaced or send it off to sony. Other than that you could look up on google for a tut how to DIY Smile

u HDD wont be formated whe nu update to 3.56 so u keeped ur patch, thats why u still can host CLs.

Well that explains a lot..some of my friends have been able to keep running the CFW without a bypass. So the lack of being reformatted keeps the CL in place. This explains a lot!
