So question is: I have 2 PS3 systems, one has a jailbreak on 3.41 and one is on OFW 3.55. I have modified patches on the 3.55, and I'm wondering if its okay to update to 3.56 or not on the 3.55? (Can modified patches get me bricked?)

I heard people on Jailbroken PS3s get bricked, does this apply to all Jailbreak methods or just CFW?

no u wont brick but keep the 3.41 ps3 on 3.41 and carry on data transfering or wat ever method u use

Since you have 2 machines, keep one for offline purposes and use it to load your patches into. Once you have the new patch in place you can simply use a Ethernet cord and connect it to the online system and transfer the patches to the 3.56 and use them online.

Back on topic, yes you can update to 3.56 without a problem.
