I flashed my PS3 Slim 120 GB with Kmeaw's CFW 3.55..

now i've put F1 2010 on my internal HDD and started playing.. all went well and then all of a sudden in the 3rd race I believe it started freezing (i had to hold the power button for like 20 sec. to shutdown)
Then when I startup again a clock appears with a "please wait" and it takes a while to get into XMB. Sometimes a message comes up that my PS3 wasnt shutdown correctly .. duuuh

I've used Rogero 8.0 Stealth and MM 1.5.. and 1.6

- i've tried is to copy the game to external USB (same thing)
- tried deleting the gama data and saved game data
- tried a different version of the game (release)

normally it freezes randomly but...
@ one point it froze every time I tried to load one particular race (catalunya) I saved my save-game to USB , deleted the old one.. and started a new career.. then after some autosaving, quit the game and overwritten the save game with the one I backed to USB.
The race loaded I finished it then raced Monte Carlo.. that went fine, now i Istambul it froze om me again in the final 2 laps of the race.

really weird.. maybe it has to do with overheating somehow? dont think so cus i played other games and those work fine

now what I didnt do is backup all my stuff and format the HDD..

already sorted it out.. it was my WD Passport Essentials SE 500 GB 3.0 that was connected through a powered 2.0 HUB on my PS3 slim.

I backed up my shit on a WB MyBook Essentials 500 GB 2.0 and then transferred all games to that one.. connected it straight on the USB port of the Slim and since then I've had NO problems whatsoever !

quite strange why the WD Passport wont work.. it also disappeared from XMB randomly and had to disconnect and connect back again all the time. pretty fgdup actually since I bought it especially for the PS3.. on my FAT it worked like a charm!
